Who are you?
Hey there! My name is Kenneth Poh.
Born and raised in Singapore. I'm currently a third year student under Republic Polytechnic's School of Infocomm persuing a diploma in Digital Design and Development.
Driven and diligent, I try my best to achieve results that I can be proud of no matter what.
Despite learning both design and development, my field of interest lies more within the realm of development. The sense of accomplishment from developing solutions to solve problems is what keeps me going.
In my free time I enjoy playing video games, with my favourite genres being FPS and RPG.
What are your skills?
Through my diploma, I have learnt skills for both design and development. I would say that I lean more towards development, with the breakdown being 2/3 developer and 1/3 designer. The sense of accomplishment from developing solutions to solve problems is what keeps me going: from creating solutions from scratch, to finally fixing a bug that has been hindering progress.

What do you enjoy doing?
I mostly spend my free time playing video games. As a kid that grew up playing all sorts of video games, I would say that my favourite genres would probably be First-Person Shooters and Role-Playing Games. My favourite games of all time would be Dishonored, Monster Hunter, and Skyrim, but you'll catch me mostly playing Valorant or Heroes of the Storm nowadays.
I would credit my competitive and team-oriented nature to video games due to the fact that I've played a lot of team-based games which require communication and teamwork to succeed.
I occassionally upload clips of plays that I make in games on my Youtube Channel, check it out!
What are you doing now?
This is a little section that I will (hopefully remember to) update whenever there's something new and interesting going on in my life!

I am currently doing an overseas internship in Japan for 4 months! Attached as a research assistant, I will be tasked to work on projects under a professor at a local institute of technology.
My favourite things so far are definitely the food, the weather, and the scenery! Communication has been tough, since I have not studied any Japanese. My main goals for this internship are to learn Japanese, make new friends, and overall perform well in my work! がんばります!
